“Landscape” view/ much closer view (#11 A in series: Creery Wetland, day’s end)

Even on the (rare) occasions when not a single bird is within sight, day’s end in  Mandurah’s Creery Wetlands Nature Reserve is a superb combination of time and particular place.

The photo (copyright Doug Spencer) was taken at 5. 52 pm on 05 April 2024.

It was pleasingly easy to forget that our (hired) car – and suburban Mandurah – were both within easy walking distance – we did not need a torch to ensure our safe return.

The photo looks southwest, across the Peel Inlet, toward the Darling Scarp.
