The day was fine, definitely not stormy.
However, a decidedly brisk breeze had blown for a few hours, so the ocean had some oomph when it met Western Australia’s southern edge on the afternoon of February 7, 2022.
On the inland shore of the inlet at Waychinicup, one could still wade into its ever-clear water, quite safely…but no sane, life-loving person would have ventured anywhere near to the inlet’s “mouth”.

The light was ever-shifting, as little clouds scudded by, variously removing direct sunshine, or dappling, thinly veiling, or unveiling it.

Waychinicup is not a huge national park, but it has many facets, even on a single day, let alone across different days and seasons.
Sometime in the not-distant future Pelican Yoga will present a series of single image posts; each one will celebrate a different aspect of Waychinicup.
